UAE real estate: What to watch for in 2024

The UAE's real estate sector, particularly in Dubai, is witnessing sustained growth as the nation cements its status as a global center for commerce, luxury, and more. This upward trajectory is marked by a series of innovative real estate projects slated for launch next year.

Here are real estate projects to launch in 2024:

Burj Binghatti

In a collaboration with luxury jewelry brand Jacob & Co, developer Binghatti has announced plans for the world's tallest residential building. Unveiled last year, the final height of this Business Bay skyscraper remains under wraps. However, the project is expected to span 100 floors, offering two and three-bedroom homes.

This premium residential tower will feature amenities like an infinity pool with stunning views of Dubai, a high-end spa, a fully-equipped gym, and a dedicated concierge service offering bodyguards, chauffeurs, daycare, private chefs, and more.

“Today marks the significant partnership of two like-minded brands, both on an ever-striving pursuit of absolute elegance. Both our brands are born from the sheer desire to achieve what breaks boundaries. What Binghatti has done in real estate, by creating a brand through a distinct design philosophy and architectural identity is very similar to what Jacob & Co has done in the world of jewellery and horology,” said Muhammad Binghatti, CEO and Head of Architecture of Binghatti at the celebratory launch event.

Dubai Wasl Tower 

The Dubai Wasl Tower, an asymmetrical 64-story building, is poised to become a new landmark in the city's skyline. Emphasizing sustainability in line with COP28, this tower will be one of the world's tallest to use ceramic fins for energy efficiency.

Set to be completed in 2024, the tower will stand at 302 meters. Spanning 167,733 square meters, it will house residential spaces, offices, restaurants, and a 259-room Mandarin Oriental hotel.

Expo Golf Villas 4

As a continuation of the Expo Golf Villa series, phase 4 is expected to be completed in 2024. Located in Emaar South, this phase features a sprawling 18-hole championship golf course, a community center, retail spaces, dining options, parks, and more.

Emaar reports that the first five phases have sold out, with the sixth phase currently on the market. Buyers can choose between contemporary and modern architectural styles.
