VANESSA’S BACKGROUND : QUALIFICATION :  Bachelor in Commerce (Honours)1982-1987                            Hotel Management 1982-1984                              Masters in Commerce: 1987-1989                            Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations: 1988                            Management - Real Estate : 2006-2007   PROFESSIONAL CAREER : Realtor running my own business since 1996 under the name of Empress Estates completing 28 years till date.   Partnership as a Developer under the name of Vanessa & Associates since 2006 till date.   EXPERIENCE : Since 1996 I have been successfully running my business as a Realtor and cover Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Land, Joint Ventures, Property Management and Business arrangements.   PROPERTY MANAGEMENT : After my Diploma in Management Real Estate at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce I did my internship covering Property Management of Malls in Dubai.   Since the last 28 years my offices manage all our clients properties – Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Specific Purpose Properties. All these classes command a different combination of knowledge and skills.   HONORARY WORKS & POSITIONS HELD : A.   The Estate Agents Association of Pune : -Board member : 1997-2020    (22 years) -President 2013-2015 -Ex-Officio Chairman 2015-2024       B.   National Association of Realtors India           -Head of Women’s Empowerment – 2015       C.   FIABCI-INDIA   -President : FIABCI-INDIA 2023-2025 -President : FIABCI-INDIA 2021-2023           -Vice President : FIABCI-INDIA 2015-2020       D.   FIABCI International -President FIABCI International Membership Committee 2023-2024 -President FIABCI World Council of Managers 2021-2022            -Vice President FIABCI International Organisations Committee                  2019-2021, Contribution towards Social responsibilities on the FIABCI forum in its support to the United Nations – we were working on Urban Thinkers Campus in most of the FIABCI Chapter countries to understand the methodology for Sustainable development goals , resilient cites and affordable housing- the results of which were highlighted at the World Urban Forum 10 in Abu Dhabi in 2020.
